  • About me

I am a BACP-registered Humanistic Integrative Therapist with over ten years’ experience working across mental health and wellbeing settings, including NHS secondary care.

I am engaged, attuned and active in the therapeutic process, offering a steady yet responsive presence where what has been carried alone can begin to be shared, felt and understood. My approach is relational and integrative, supporting meaningful change.

    How I work

My original training is in humanistic and integrative counselling, and this continues to form the foundation of my work. At the heart of my practice is a relational and collaborative approach - creating a space where experience can be explored gently and at your own pace.

Over time, my work has increasingly integrated trauma-informed somatic, parts-based and energy-oriented approaches.

Energy Psychology has become an increasingly significant part of my practice, particularly where patterns feel difficult to shift through insight alone. I draw upon approaches such as EFT (acupoint tapping), Psychoanalytic Energy Psychotherapy (PEP), Blue Diamond Healing, Waterfall Chakra Clearing, and Ask and Receive.

I also draw upon somatic-based parts work, supporting an understanding of how different aspects of self may be held in the body through sensations, emotions, thoughts, beliefs and images. By turning towards these experiences with care and curiosity, we can begin to understand and release what they are holding, supporting greater integration and self-leadership.

This integrative approach can be especially supportive where trauma or longstanding relational patterns feel deeply rooted, supporting embodied change.

I am especially inspired by working with those who are curious about growth, spirituality and becoming more fully themselves. It is deeply meaningful to witness people soften long-held patterns and reconnect with a sense of freedom and possibility.

    Spiritual & creative orientation

I have been practising Buddhist meditation since 2012, and both my therapeutic and creative life are shaped by a longstanding contemplative path within the Insight tradition of Buddhism.

Where it feels relevant, I welcome exploration of spiritual, existential and transpersonal dimensions of experience - particularly questions of meaning, identity, purpose and the deeper currents of being human.

Alongside my clinical work, I am also an artist and musician. When I am not working, you will often find me exploring nature, singing, painting, dancing, practising meditation, attending retreats, writing and making music.
