Morag Ruffell

  • Morag Ruffell, a woman with long red hair, glasses, and a gold necklace smiling at the camera. She is wearing a light-colored top. There are green leaves and fairy lights in the background.

I am a qualified Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
I work in a Person-centred way, integrating Psychodynamic and Buddhist understanding into my approach.
Core values such as empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity are at the heart of my practice.
I also work in a trauma-informed way, paying particular attention to the body.
I find this helps facilitate a deepening of embodied awareness which can support the therapeutic process.

I have been working with clients since 2017 and I am experienced in working with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, bereavement, and relationship difficulties. I have experience working for the NHS in secondary mental health care facilitating mindfulness courses and supporting the wellbeing of individuals with complex mental health needs.

I now work in private practice. I see clients one-to-one in person and online.
I offer a free initial call to see if it feels like we would be a good fit to work together.

I care about equality and inclusion and offer several low-cost places. Please do ask about this if my normal fee is more than you can afford.
