Drama & Movement Therapist · Clinical Supervisor · Embodied Practitioner
Hello, I’m Josephine. I offer trauma-informed therapy and clinical supervision grounded in the body, creativity and relationship. My work is relational, compassionate and collaborative, supporting people to reconnect with themselves at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

People seek therapy for many different reasons.
Whatever brings you, you are welcome to get in touch for a free consultation call.I have specialist experience supporting people living with the effects of trauma, including:
· Childhood sexual abuse and assault
· Childhood (developmental) trauma and neglect
· Domestic abuse
· Lived experience of the care systemI also work with a wide range of other needs, which may include:
· Anxiety
· Unwanted and distressing thought patterns
· Stress and overwhelm
· Neurodiversity including sensory processing sensitivities
· Transitions and change
· Loss and separation
· Using self-harm to cope
· Self-confidence and identityWhat Happens in Therapy?
You can use therapy sessions in whatever way works best for you. You don’t need to be “creative” to find drama and movement therapy helpful. Some people find that imagination, objects, art or movement take the pressure off having to talk all the time—especially when words feel hard to find.
We may focus on developing ways to manage intense or confusing feelings and bodily sensations, helping you stay grounded and resourced. When you feel ready, I can also support you to gently explore difficult or traumatic experiences that may still be affecting you, always working at your pace.
Parent and Carer Consultations
When a child is struggling, parents and carers can feel worried, exhausted or unsure what to do next—and many fear being judged or blamed. These sessions offer a compassionate space to think together about what might help.
In these sessions, I can support you to:
· Feel more confident in understanding what your child may be communicating through their behaviour
· Develop trauma-informed, attachment-based ways of responding to your child’s needs
· Make gentle, non-judgmental connections between your own attachment patterns and your current parenting approaches.Creative Clinical Supervision
I offer reflective, embodied and trauma-informed supervision for practitioners working with adults, children and young people. Supervision with me supports you to develop embodied awareness in your practice. This includes noticing how both your own and your clients’ bodily experiences can inform, contain and be a resource in the work. My aim is to create a collaborative space where you can reflect openly, build confidence and continue growing your clinical practice.
Trauma-Informed and Anti-Oppressive Practice
I work in an inclusive, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming way. We go at your pace and attend to how trauma lives in the body and nervous system. This is a space that honours your identity, culture, beliefs and experiences. I work collaboratively and flexibly so that the approaches we use suit different minds, bodies and neurotypes – this is a space for you to be as you are, rather than having to mask.
