My approach to therapy is creative, compassionate and relational. I am passionate about supporting you to reconnect and reach a place of understanding and ease within yourself. I believe that healing happens in safe places with safe people. We need others alongside us in our healing journey but ultimately I will support you to find the places within yourself to allow that to happen.
Often we are left in survival mode following challenging experiences, be that a childhood filled with complex trauma, intergenerational patterns that no longer serve or a huge transition such as becoming a Mother.
Therapy can be a helpful resource prompted by challenging times, periods of adjustment or simply a desire to work through something that is unresolved.
I have over 10 years experience working with a diverse range of people of different ages and backgrounds who have experienced complex trauma, grief, loneliness, estrangement from family, addiction, homelessness, conflict, relationship challenges, abuse, questions around identity and purpose, neurodiversity, mental health illness, challenges related to Motherhood and support in personal empowerment.
Organisational experience includes working as a therapist for Respond Charity, NHS, CAMHS and St Mungo's Charity.
I currently offer individual and group therapy to Mothers and to people who identify as Women.
