About me
Hello! I'm Ed (he/him). Life can be hard at any time and I’m here to work alongside you with whatever you choose to bring to our sessions.
I am a fully trained integrative counsellor with experience working with clients who present with mental health, low self-esteem, addiction and trauma issues.
Examples of CPD training I have done include internal family systems, porn addiction, neurodiversity, shame, trans awareness, death anxiety and attachment theory.
I am a member of the BACP and work to their ethical guidelines, as well as receiving regular monthly supervision.
I am also a member of the ICO and work to their GDPR and confidentiality guidelines.
How I work
I feel strongly that holding a safe, non-judgemental space together is vital to create a great working relationship together. I will always check in with you to see what your needs and preferences are.
I am down to earth, always willing to listen and here to support you in your journey.
My first session
In this session we will explore what you hope to gain and explore through therapy.
We will also agree a contract together, outlining my responsibilities to you as a counsellor and yours as a client.
I will also take some contact details from yourself.
If you have any questions about this at all, we can go over this in the first session and I am more than happy to help.

I am available on Thursdays at the Centre for Whole Health.
I also have availability at my therapy space in Stokescroft on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I have online availability at various times.
