I enjoy osteopathy for its gentle, respectful approach to the body. For me, one of the best things about osteopathy is that it allows me to provide care that’s tailored to you as an individual.

After graduating from the European School of Osteopathy in 2010, I practised in Canada for 3 years before moving back to Bristol – I have been working with The Courtyard Osteopaths since then. I have also undertaken extensive postgraduate training in paediatrics, cranial osteopathy and Biodynamic osteopathy.

In an osteopathic appointment we have the time to really listen to your issues and work out what changes we can make to help you to move (and feel) better. I like to collaborate with my patients to find a treatment plan that works for you and your lifestyle, whether this is giving specific exercises or advising on which activities can aid your healing. Osteopathy is about more than just addressing symptoms – it’s about helping you feel supported, balanced, and able to reach a deeper level of healing.

I use a variety of approaches in clinic, from more structural techniques such as massage and joint articulations to the very gentle end of the treatment spectrum (cranial osteopathy).

Cranial osteopathy is particularly well suited for the treatment of babies as it is effective, noninvasive, and low risk. It’s always a joy to be able to treat a newborn baby, as the positive impact we can have helps the whole family to feel better.

I am passionate about Osteopathy and continually inspired by the human body’s capacity to adapt and heal. I see my role as to support and encourage you to find health and balance.

I am experienced in managing a wide range of symptoms and feel confident that everyone can benefit from Osteopathy. I’m keen to work with you, to understand the underlying cause of your symptoms and find ways to prevent their reoccurrence.

I continue to learn and explore ways to expand my skills and practice. I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy from the Osteopathic Childrens Centre in London and feel passionate about the help osteopathy can bring for babies, children and mothers pre & post pregnancy.

When not working, I can often be found walking in the forest or balancing on a yoga mat.

  • Eriko Fujii MA OST

As an osteopath, I aim to connect the dots, not just within your body, but also in the broader context of your life. My aim is to help you gain a clearer picture of your health and feel empowered in your healing journey. I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can feel truly heard, seen, and supported.

I have a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to heal when it’s given the right support, space, and care. I trained at the European School of Osteopathy, where I earned a Master’s in Osteopathy. My training covered a wide range of effective hands-on techniques: structural, visceral, and cranial. These approaches allow me to tailor each treatment to your unique needs and support you as a whole person.

I enjoy working with people at all stages of life, including babies, children, and women who are pregnant or in the postnatal period. I also have a special interest in helping people with headaches and using movement and exercise to support recovery.

Alongside osteopathy, I’m also qualified in Sports Massage and have a continuing passion for therapeutic movement and rehabilitation. Before becoming an osteopath, I worked as a programme director in broadcasting—a role that sparked my deep interest in human connection and the stories we carry, both in body and mind.

When I’m not in clinic you’ll most likely find me out in nature, meditating, forest bathing, or enjoying needlework – practices that keep me grounded and connected to my Japanese heritage.

    Osteopathic Council.

We are a professional, caring and friendly team of three GOsC registered osteopaths. Having worked locally as an osteopathic practice since 1994, we're happy that these days most people come to us by personal recommendations from previous clients. And Bristol health practitioners.

Our clients range in age from newborn
    infants to the elderly.

Osteopathy is a modern, flourishing form of healthcare. It’s is a hands-on treatment that’s safe, gentle and very effective. The highly skilled diagnosis and healing techniques, learnt through many years of study, help people restore and maintain their optimum health.

People often assume that osteopaths only help with back, muscle or joint pain, but in fact we have a wealth of experience and techniques to work with a wide range of health issues – from care during pregnancy, through to digestive disorders. We have also helped clients with postural problems and injuries, as well as those suffering trauma, stress or emotional difficulties. We adapt to suit our patients’ needs, whether they are office workers, sports players, people with disabilities or retired people.

We are interested in identifying and treating the root causes of your symptoms.
Osteopathy is based on the principle that the body has an intrinsic ability to heal itself, and so we focus on treating existing conditions and preventing future illness. We consider your symptoms carefully in the context of your full medical history, lifestyle and personal circumstances, and like to discuss all our examination findings with you, along with our osteopathic diagnosis, treatment plan and advice. Our holistic approach ensures that all treatment is tailored to you as an individual. Our interest is in your long-term recovery
